Danelle Storm Rosati has dedicated 30 years to the field of executive search. She founded Storm & Company in 1994, building on her years of experience in executive recruiting in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Prior to establishing her own company, Ms. Storm Rosati was a partner in two previous retained search firms specializing in senior-level placements for high-technology industries and was a director for Spencer Stuart in San Francisco.

From 1991 to 1994, she was co-founder and partner of Levin, Storm & Co., Menlo Park, specializing in the life science and information science industries.

As a director at Spencer Stuart, San Francisco, from 1988 to 1990, she handled top-level assignments in the high-technology, consumer packaged goods, financial services, insurance, distribution, and not-for-profit sectors.

Working on a contract basis in 1987-88, Ms. Storm Rosati conducted 50 searches for Apple Computer, Inc., as well as multiple placements for two other Silicon Valley firms: Digital Equipment Corporation, and Chips and Technologies, Inc.

She joined Businessland in 1985, where she served as Western Region/Corporate Recruiter, hiring personnel for 15 field locations and five corporate departments.

From 1981 to 1985, she was co-founder and partner in her first retained search firm, Storm, Block & Associates, San Francisco. The firm conducted high-technology searches from the staff level to vice president.

Her recruiting career began in 1978 with Robert Siegel & Company, a San Francisco contingency recruiting firm, serving nationwide clients in the high-technology market. In her final year with the firm, she was the 1981 top producer among its nearly 20 recruiters.

Ms. Storm Rosati earned a B.A. degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is a former member of the UC Santa Barbara Foundation Board, a former regional vice chair of the Lincoln Club of Northern California, a former member of the International Women’s Forum West and Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs, the former chairwoman of the Silicon Valley region of the Commonwealth Club, and former chairwoman and board member of the Child Advocacy Council. She has also been awarded membership on the Honorary Board Committee of the Shenzhen Hi-Tech Industry Association in Shenzhen, China. She lives with her husband, Mario M. Rosati, in Northern California.
